California Mathematics Placement Policy
Senate Bill no. 359 California Mathematics Placement Act of 2015 states: School districts must have a fair, objective, and transparent mathematics placement policy for pupils entering grade 9. The Board Policy and two exhibits regarding Mathematics Placement Protocol were adopted by the Board on June 14, 2016.
