Sunset earns state Academic Achievement Award!
Our school has been awarded the California Title One Academic Achievement Award. State Superintendent Tom Torlakson sent a letter and awards plaque to our staff congratulating us on our academic successes. The award is designed to honor Title 1 schools that have demonstrated success in significantly closing the achievement gap between high and low-performing students. Pictured above is our new Academic Awards Seal and the 4th and 5th grade Sunset K-8 team Doug Sarak, Tia Marshall and Linda Powers and Principal Kelsie Sims. Congratulations to our entire school community!
