The Will Rogers Parent Teacher Association (PTA) sponsored a record-setting Jog-A-Thon fundraiser this year! Students raised money to sponsor them as they completed a giant obstacle course around the Will Rogers campus. Just over $17,000 was collected! This money will be used to sponsor field trips, classroom supplies, and more educational opportunities for students and families. The top earner was Evan Geske ($660) from Mr. Elias' fourth grade class, who won a Kindle eReader for his efforts. In second place was Silas Metcalf ($510) from Mrs. Montano's kindergarten class, who won the right to become Principal for the day. The top earning classroom was Mr. Elias ($1840.) Thank you PTA for organizing this amazing fundraiser that also made fitness fun!
