Welcome Poinsettia Lions!

I am so glad to have you all as part of the lion pride, from our newest kiddos in kinder to parents who are themselves alumni of Poinsettia.  Poinsettia represents the best in education and I look forward to all the fantastic things we have in store for this school year.

Thank you in advance for your support of your child's education.  In the first few weeks of school, I ask for your help in establishing positive routines.  Successful learning at school begins at home as students get a good night’s sleep, families read together, and breakfast is early enough to ensure plenty of time for a peaceful arrival to school.  Health and safety remain imperative as we continue to navigate the pandemic.  Thank you for paying close attention to our protocols and following them.  And as always, I appreciate you modeling respect on and around campus.

This year might be a little different from normal, but we have booked exciting assemblies, field trips, and more for your children.  Art Night will take place in February and stay tuned to hear about our family picnic that we vow to have at some time this year!  For students in grades 3-5, we will have student council elections just after jog-a-thon, which will take place on October 1.  I look forward to seeing students each Friday in their red t-shirts to show their spirit.  You all make up the roaring lion pride!

In partnership,
