It is the intent of the VUSD Personnel Commission, Board of Education, and the Staff Development Committee to continuously offer workshops, seminars, and training that will enhance classified employees ability to perform their work assignments and to better serve the children of the Ventura Unified School District.
The Staff Development Committee strives to provide classified employees with opportunities to improve the quality of their workplace. By offering workshops designed to help employees manage stress, improve communication, improve computer skills or design a personal fitness program, it is the committee's hope that classified staff will not only benefit at work, but at home as well.
