Being a member of the PTA does not obligate you to volunteer, however, it does give you a voice concerning how money is raised, how money is spent, and who are the officers. Your $5.75 also goes towards the resources and benefits we derive through our membership in the national, state, and district PTA's.
PLEASE VOLUNTEER:
- You may like to lead and/or organize. There are many committees you can serve on, and some board positions are open.
- You may prefer to be a “worker bee.” Any time you can give, no matter how much, is appreciated.
- You may not be able to donate time, but you may still be able to help in other ways (send cookies for an event, send fruit on jog-a-thon day, etc.).
PTA FUNDS PROVIDE:
- Field trips, cultural assemblies, art and music curriculum, Weekly Readers, library materials, campus beautification, school newsletter, Red Ribbon Week, teacher and secretary appreciation, science fair, earthquake preparedness, support for outdoor education, and much more!
