The Healthy and Green Schools Partnership Committee meets quarterly to discuss projected goals set by the committee members and has six sub-committees that oversee the following topics.
- Integrated Pest Management
- Sustainability in Construction
- Energy Conservation
- Environmental Preferable Purchasing
- Health and Wellness
- Reducing Waste/Educational Outreach
The Ventura Unified School District adopted a Green Schools Resolution, #08-14 in June of 2008. The committee has also established a Green Schools Charge.
