Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Montalvo Arts Academy.  We are so glad you are here, and thank you for being a Lion.  The beginning of the school year is always an exciting and emotional time for students and parents, and the Montalvo staff is eager to support you and your student in having a successful kick-off.

Montalvo Arts Academy is a unique campus for many reasons.  Aside from our Arts Magnet and award-winning Two-Way Immersion program, we offer a safe and affirming learning environment for all students in our historic building.  Our teachers attend regular professional development opportunities, collaborate at the grade level and site level, and are dedicated to the academic and personal success of all students.  We have support staff that works with all students at their level on academic interventions, the arts and other enrichment.  Our dynamic PTA organization facilitates campus-wide events, and we encourage you to get involved with this wonderful group.  Parental involvement is the cornerstone to the success of students as individuals, as well as to the school as a whole.  We look forward to seeing you and your student on campus.  This is your school.
