We prepare our students for a future in the world today, where our students grow to be critical thinkers, creative, and adaptable. We also believe it is essential to develop our students as people, scholars, and citizens of the world. The foundation for this growth begins in our excellent Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms where your child will find teachers who care about their needs and provide an open and positive environment.

Kindergarten is for children who turn five years old on or before September 1 in the school year they will be attending. We offer 17 elementary school sites, all with Kindergarten programs. For a full list of elementary school sites visit,

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a bridge between preschool and Kindergarten that gives young learners a head start and provides them with an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social-emotional needs.

Our TK program accepts children whose fifth birthday is between September 2 and February 2 in the school year they will be attending.

Transitional Kindergarten is offered at limited school sites. After registering for TK, you will be notified regarding the location of your child’s TK location. Transitional Kindergarten sites are located at the following locations and the following times this year (changes are not expected but could occur for the 2022-23 school year).
