The state's new local control funding formula is bringing sweeping changes to the ways schools are funded and how K-12 districts are held accountable. The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a required component of the new funding formula. The District's LCAP will be written and developed with input from parents, staff, students and community members.

If you are applying for Free or Reduced Price Meals:

1. Please complete an application for Free & Reduced Meals at www.venturausd.org , one application per household only. Please list all household members.

2. The form should be filled out completely, so that no delay in processing occurs.

3. A new application must be completed each year. There is no charge for free or reduced price meals.

4. If you are eligible for CALWORKS and/or CalFRESH you will already be listed and do not need to complete an application. Please call the FNS office at 641-5000 ext. 1306, to verify you are in the system or to let us know if you have an address change.

1. Favor de completar una solicitud para Comidas gratis y a precio reducido por internet en www.venturausd.org ,Sólo se necesita una solicitud por familia. Por favor de listar todos los integrantes de la familia.

2. Debe llenar este formulario en su totalidad, para que no ocurra ningún atraso en el procesamiento.

3. Se tiene que completar una nueva solicitud cada año. No hay cargo por comidas gratis o a precio reducido.

4. Si es elegible para CALWORKS o CalFRESH no necesita la solicitud debido a que ya se encuentra en la lista. Por favor llame al 641-5000 ext. 1306 si tiene alguna pregunta.
